How do you take black and white or sepia pictures on the Olympus Stylus-550?
This is a really stupid question because I’ve been able to easily take black and white pictures with all of my other cameras, but I just bought the Olympus Stylus-550 waterproof camera and I cannot seem to find how to take black and white or sepia pictures in the manual or online. Please help me.

Look it up in the manual. If you have already lost the manual, browse the camera’s menu system. It should be somewhere within mode or scene or special effects selection.
If you can’t find one, then here’s an easy way. Take the picture normally, in color, transfer the image to a computer, use the computer’s photo software to change it to sepia or black and white.
If you don’t have a photo software, I recommend IrFanView. It is small, fast and free. Just make sure to download the plug-ins too so you’ll have the sepia filter.
If you don’t have a computer, your only option then is to bring your picture (file, Memory Card) to a digital photo shop and ask them to convert it there.
